1、Nursery time
We raised the seedlings in nutrient bowl on April 5, and the seedlings were 65 days old.
2、Seed soaking and germination
The minimum temperature for asparagus seed germination is 10℃, and the maximum temperature is 35℃, with 25℃-28℃ being the most suitable. Soak the seeds in water to remove the blighted seeds and insect-infested seeds before soaking, and then soak in 50% carbendazim 300 times for 12 hours to sterilize. Soak in warm water at 30-35 ℃ for 2-3 days, pour water, then cover with a wet towel to germinate, rinse the seeds with water once a day to avoid smothering the seeds. Have 10% of seeds dewy in time for sowing.
